1.8 16v pl -> 2.0 16v pl ?

    Hi all


    I hope its ok i write in english, my german is not that good, but its ok if you answer in german, i can read it :wink:


    Im planning to take a 1.8 16v pl engine, and convert it into a 2.0.


    What do i need?


    i got a crankshaft and pistonrods from a 2L 8v, then all i need is som 9A or ABF pistons right??


    Have any of you tried it??

    I think you should buy a ABF engine or its engine block with crankshaft, pistons and conrods at least.
    The ABF Engine Block and Cylinder Head looks similar to the PL Engine, It´s only a little bit higher.

    Fehlende Leistung ist durch puren Wahnsinn zu ersetzen.

    Who cares?! Do you think anybody will take a closer look to the block if the engine looks similar to the PL?


    It´s a lot of work to make a 2000ccm engine from a 1800ccm Engine!
    If you are allowed to build a 2000ccm engine why its permited to take simply a complete 2000ccm Engine?!
