Golf 2 Diesel Tacho mit DZM

erstmal die suche benutzen und zweitens: alten raus, neuen rein!

hi alten raus neuen rein wen was nicht gehen sollte muss ggf etwas an der lima gemacht werden alles kein hexenwert dann einfach melden

ich musste die strippe von der lima neu ziehen. ansonsten plug&play. wenn du dir ne neue KI besorgst, dann achte drauf, dass es eine von VDO ist. dieseldzm ist daran zu erkennen, dass der dzm bis 5000 U/min anzeigt. die KI darf bei neuer ZE dann nur einen stecker haben. viel spaß und glück beim umbau.

dann gehör ich wohl zu den 1%, die nachziehen mussten

moment, vorhanden ist das kabel bei mir gewesen, der DZM hat aber trotzdem nicht funktioniert. strippe gezogen -> alles so wie es sein soll. ich spreche natürlich auch von der neuen ZE. ich gebe allerdings zu, das ich nicht weiter nach der ursache geforscht habe.

I have a golf mk II from 1990 with JP motor and I want to put a tacho. I bought a thacho from a TD with 5000 rpm but I don't know how to make the new connections: glow spark and the wire from the alternator.

Can someone help me with the wiring / pins diagram from the TD tacho?

Ich kaufte ein thacho von einem TD mit 5000 U/min, aber ich weiß nicht kann die neuen Beziehungen herstellen: Glühenfunken und der Draht vom Wechselstromerzeuger. does your lightmaschine have the 2. acces on from that picture?

from there you should pull a cabel to the tacho. it should have an accass that's called G5.

connect the "W Clamp" and G5 and it should worke. Tell me if it does.

you gave a little few details. its a bit difficult to judge your situation. what is not working at the moment? the speedo ist OK (correct speed)?
as far as i know it makes no difference wether the KI (KI = whole unit with speedo and rev counter) is from a TD or a normal diesel engine, only the speed could be indicated wrong. you only have to watch out, that your new KI has one electric connector, as well as your "old" KI (with one connector its called "new central electric", the "old central electric" has two connectors). so far the theory. your glow spark should just work out fine. can you exclude that the LED is broken?
for the rev counter, you have to pass a new wire from the alternator to your KI. at the alternator it is clamp "W" (look at the picture by Elox). it could be, that your current alternator doesnt have that clamp. i just forgot where to put that wire into the connector of your KI, i just remember it was the green wire.

The KI that I have now is with 1 connector and the new KI is also with 1 connector. I haven't mounted yet because I don't know where to put the wire from the alternator.

The pins from the connector are marked from 1 to 28, witch one is for the alternator and where the one from the glow spark?

I want everything to work on my car (aren't we all) and that is why I want to put every wire where it belongs.

The car is golf GL from 1990, JP engine, central lock with vacuum, sun roof, heated windscreen washers, luggage lamp, electric headlamps, g60 suspension...

Here are some old pictures with the car, meanwhile I sold the OZ wheels and I'm looking for 14" 8j ones:

pin 20 is for the glow spark, the wire should be green/white.
pin 10 is for the alternator and should be green.
